Having known Joe for over 40 years, I know I could never say enough great things about him. He was always incredibly warm, kind, and an exceptional listener. We shared a passion for plants—especially native fruit trees—and for everything connected to simpler times.

Camping out at grandpas- May 2023
We worked in the garden and had a fire out by the barn!! He showed us around his fruit trees. Grandpa Joe’s green thumb always inspired me. He loved working outside with his plants and kept at it as long as he could!
